Helping Nature to Help People
In alignment with the environmental and sustainability priorities of the government of Uruguay, the United Nations, and organizations interested in biodiversity, climate resilience, and community health and security, this wetlands improvement proposal seeks to fulfill several goals: Flood Mitigation; Habitat Conservation; Production of Organic Food and Fodder for People, Livestock, and Native Fauna; and Provide Affordable Electricity for the Community.

Flood Mitigation
By restoring and improving neglected wetlands through Permaculture engineering, residents and businesses in Barrio Solari can achieve climate resilience, food security, and affordable energy.
